Pool Ready

Crazy Iowa weather. Yesterday it started out cool and clear. Within an hour, it was overcast and windy. Then, suddenly, hot and humid. By noon -- right as church let out -- there came a torrential downpour!

The heavy rain spoiled our afternoon plans to meet friends in Rock Island and play at the water park downtown, so we rolled with it and decided we'd head back to Muscatine and swim indoors in the pool at the Y, where we'd be safe from the elements.


With your little shades, you looked exceptionally pool ready and cute as a ladybug, so of course I had to snap some pictures.

Naturally, by the time we got to the Y, it was sunny and warm outside and remained so for the rest of the day!
