Fishing Friend
So we walked down by the fishing pond at Discovery Park and sitting there waiting for a bite was our friend Casey, the boy who lives next door. Casey's about ten years old, but that doesn't seem to intimidate you these days. After we watched him for a few minutes, you walked over to him and asked:
"Can I use your fishing pole?"
I laughed and interrupted to explain that, no, we weren't going to borrow anyone's pole... we were just going to watch. He let you see his bait -- a gross wiggly worm -- and showed you how he casts a few times. He even let you hold some of the pond weeds he "caught" when you asked for them.
I think it's time we picked you up a fishing pole of your own. Hmmm....
