Buddy the Puppy

We meet all kinds of new friends in our travels and adventures together, Addie. Most are human. Some, as in the case of Buddy the Puppy, are canine. Buddy is an adorable little 3-month-old French Bulldog we met at the Riverfront Park in downtown Davenport. You and he really hit it off and here you are enjoying a little puppy-love from little Buddy.

You know the protocol now very well: before petting any dog, we have to ask its owner if it's OK. And that's exactly what you do: you ask, "Can I pet your dog?" which is typically answered, "Yes." Then you ask, "What's your doggy's name?" Then you usually turn and announce to me with great enthusiasm, like you did today, "Daddy, this is Rainy and I can pet her!"
