Adessa's Travels: Fort Stockton, Texas
Adessa, after leaving La Mesilla, we headed east into Texas and by the next day, we decided to stay the night in a little town called Fort Stockton.
There seem to be two distinguishing characteristics about Fort Stockton:
1) It is in the middle of nowhere.
2) It is windy as all get out in that area.
But the RV park where we stayed had one major advantage. A pool! Here you are looking cuter than words can possibly describe in your pool wrap. Click on the pic to enlarge and check out the pretty toenail polish.
The pool was a bit cold -- and with it so windy, getting out was even colder. Still, we were game for a quick dip before the sun went down.
We had the pool all to ourselves that evening and it was nice to have that quick refresher before the long drive ahead of us the next day.
The next stop on our trip was another favorite town of ours... we'll have a post about it tomorrow.
