Parfum de Adessa
Earlier this week, we stopped in at Younkers, and a really nice lady saw you and said,
"Oh, you're just adorable. Would you like to sample some perfume?"
"Yes," you replied.
First she sprayed a sample on your right arm, then on your left. "If anyone asks you what you're wearing," she explained, "tell them it's Calvin Klein."
All the rest of the day, you occasionally paused to sniff your arms. I must say -- it smelled wonderful on you!
From Younkers, we proceeded onward into the MuscaMall. The Mall is looking pretty sad these days. Not too many shops are even in business anymore. One that is and that seems to be bucking the trend given that they just expanded is the bizarrely-named Shop 2 Drop. We stopped inside and you were fascinated with a little wind-up merry-go-round music box.
"Daddy," you said, "it's broken. The horses don't go up and down."
I took a close look and saw that you were right. Not too surprising -- this is a secondhand store, after all. But you were deeply determined to do something about it.
You kept poking, pushing, prodding, and winding the merry-go-round until you exclaimed:
"Look! I fixed it with my finger!"
Wow! Sure enough, you had fixed whatever was keeping the horses from going up and down -- it was working good as new. I was very impressed by this and you were quite proud of yourself.
Not too much later, we headed out for lunch together.
We took a few pics together while enjoying our food.
Cheese!
As you do quite often these days, you asked me if you could take a picture and I said "sure." You snapped this nice Goofy Daddy photo.
One last Goofy Daddy/Daughter pic.
