Video from the vault: Adessa walking with Grandpa
Adessa, here's an old video from April 2008: you holding your Grandpa's hand as we walked across the parking lot to a restaurant in Phoenix, AZ during a visit to see Grammy and Grandpa. I can still remember this it was yesterday. Funny how time and memories can do that. You were just a month into walking at this point, but look at you go so bravely... your Grandpa can barely keep up.
It's wonderful to watch you grow up but seeing a video like this takes my breath away to realize how quickly it's happening.

I remember this day so well - you were anxious to show us your walking skills and were fearless when it came to attempting even steps (like curbs) that were awfully high for you. Grandpa and I had such fun watching you and playing with you that day!
