Water Tower Spotting
These days, Adessa, I can always count on you to scan the horizon for water towers and exclaim,
"A water tower! Daddy, I see a water tower!"
anytime you spot one in the distance.
This started on our trip up to Minnesota -- the upper Midwest is the Land of 10,000 Water Towers. The topography is so flat it seems every town has at least one.
I'm not surprised that you're suddenly fascinated with them -- I remember being just as intrigued by them when I was little.
You always ask if we can drive to them and I think I'm just going to have to figure out if we can get up close to one of these water towers out here so you can check it out.
