Cooking with Mrs. Franny
After we returned from the Mall of America on Sunday -- and you awoke from your power nap -- Mrs. Franny had a wonderful idea for something you could do with her:
Baking M&M cookies.
You loved it!
You wanted to do it all -- crack the eggs, pour the flour and sugar, stir in the M&Ms (and eat the M&Ms), stir the batter, etc.
The end result was several dozen warm, delicious cookies -- of which we sampled quite a few. We took a few home with us and even packed a little container of a few for Mommy.
Sorry the photo above isn't the greatest -- my camera was deader than a doornail after snapping pics at the Mall of America all day so that's from my BlackBerry. As you can see, Mrs. Franny even dressed you in a special little pint-sized apron. That apron happened to belong to her youngest son, Jesse, who is now all grown up and married himself. It had been more than twenty years since someone wore that apron and I could tell Mrs. Franny was so glad she saved it so you could wear it.
