The Petting Zoo

Yesterday at The Pumpkin Patch, we spent a lot of time at their petting zoo and got a lot of pics:

Here you are getting up close and personal with a family of goats.

You showed no fear of any of the animals... I was watching very closely, wanting to make sure you didn't get nipped while you fed them, but they were all very gentle.

Reaching up to pet the cheek of a nice billy goat.

An adorable little baby goat... that got rammed out of the way by a mean old pygmy goat that wanted the food you were giving out... not nice!

Feeding a mini-flock of sheep.

"The goat says 'Baaa!'"

Giving out goodies to some young cows.

You were giving them feed out of an ice cream cone... which they also happily ate.

Once again, you weren't afraid of the animals at all, even though these cows were pretty big.

Feeding the chicken while saying "bock bock bock..."

This nice man even brought over a chicken for you to pet and see up close.

Outside the petting zoo, one of the workers had brought his Jack Russell Terrier named (aptly) Porkchop. He was very happy to see you!

And little Bella even got to be a part of the fun as you took her for a walk out in the parking lot. But I'm sure she was wondering about all those strange animal smells on you...

Adessa, I'm very proud of your love of animals and it is so much fun to watch your eyes light up as you pet, feed, and even talk to all the different animals at the petting zoo. I hope we can do it again soon.
