Lunch at Mimi's
Before our outing at The Pumpkin Patch, we had lunch at Mimi's Cafe. I know there's a severe recession going on these days, but it was hard to tell by the crowd in the restaurant -- it was packed. Fortunately, we only had to wait ten minutes for a table.
While waiting, we met a really nice lady who came up and told you how cute you are. (This was obviously a woman who knows cute when she sees it.) You told her "thank you" and I pointed out that she had something funny on both her ears... she had giant earrings that looked like real spiders! I asked you if you wanted to touch them... but you were understandably reluctant. They really did look real.
"Daddy, can I wear your sunglasses?"
"Sure, honey."
You even put them on the right way, first try.
Of course, that didn't last long as you always seem to prefer the inverted shades look.
Showing off your cute high ponytail. Your hair's getting long, girl.
Finally got to our table... you were thirsty and chugged a cup of juice right away. We passed the time by coloring and munching on the cup of cheerios the server brought for you.
I asked what you wanted for lunch... you thought a moment, and then proclaimed, "pizza." So you enjoyed a pizzadilla... basically a cross between a pepperoni pizza and a quesadilla. Not bad, actually.
Love you, Addie!
