Cold Days in California
We're spoiled, Adessa... it's "cold" here in California this week, but as you can see by this (quite adorable) picture of you, what we consider cold is still warm enough for short sleeves while playing. As millions of people are being buried by blizzards across the Rockies, midwest, and east coast, it gets up all the way to 70 degrees by afternoon out here... a little chilly sometimes but nice enough for a day spent outside together.

For dessert, what else? Marshmallows on a stick!
We still haven't found an open flame over which to roast them yet... hey, even one of those outdoor gas heaters they use at cafes would work in a pinch... but there were none in sight today...
You peered into this "tunnel" poking out of the building and called, "Little lizard!"
"I don't think he's in there, Daddy."That was a fun time today, Addie... but there's a big storm rolling in tomorrow that's supposed to stick around a while. Not sure if we'll be able to enjoy such nice weather again for a little while. But hey -- it's much better than a blizzard... we're not complaining!

ReplyDeleteI gotta say adessa...you sure are beautiful in that pink hat and pink shirt. Not to mention how jealous I am that you can still get away with wearing the short sleeves. We are all bundled up 90% of the time now here in Kansas. Tempetures are only between 6-15 degrees in the morning and 20-35 in the afternoon. BRRRRRRR. I am not a fan of the cold although the snow we have accumulated over the past few days is sure pretty to look at. Soak in those beautiful 70 degree days for the zoellers.
