Merry Christmas, Adessa

I thought a lot today about Adessa -- anyone who is separated from someone they love on Christmas understands the pain of separation is more acute during the holidays.

But today my thoughts were mostly joyful -- instead of focusing on what is wrong in the present situation, being grateful for what God gave us in the past.

And the hope for the future never dies.  I pray for Adessa today that she is blessed wherever she may be, whatever is going on in her life.  I pray we are together again soon.
